Not many know how important the noble Antenore Pagello was for my education and fortune, alongside the more famous Giangiorgio Trissino. They shared the intention of making Vicenza a new cultural capital, completely transforming it in its forms.

He was the property of him that he sold to Taddeo Gazzotti, the contractor of the salt duty, a man with whom he was related although not of aristocratic origins, but a lover of art and music in particular.

They were really my beginnings, and it was a way to enter a new contact with Venice a few years later, with Girolamo Grimani in particular. To him Taddeo, now in ruins due to a wrong speculation on his duty on salt, was forced to sell the villa.
