I was 71 years old now, and I was dedicating most of my remaining time to the Olympic Theater project.
However, I could not refuse Cardinal and Patriarch Giovanni Grimani, whom I could now honor myself to call my friend, the project of an arched stone door, to be inserted in the orphaned tower of an ancient castle: this is the Porta di Tramontana in San Daniele of Friuli.
I took out the drawing of the Bollani Arch, designed twenty years earlier: yes, it would always be my Venice, my "Roman" Venice, in the men who reconstructed it and in the values that were staged, to mark its magnificent dominion in its territories.
